Scholarship testing is held in May at the Gilson College Taylor's Hill Campus. Details on testing dates are made available in March of the same year and applications will open at that time. Scholarships are then granted to recipients for the following year.
At Gilson College we are pleased to offer scholarships at the following levels:
Designed for students to sit the test during their final year of primary school, for entry into the first year of secondary school the following year (Year 7 in VIC). The tests are also suitable for entry into the second year of secondary school.
Designed for students to sit the test during their second year of secondary school, for entry into the third year of secondary school the following year (Year 9 in VIC). The tests are also suitable for entry into the fourth year of secondary school.
Designed for students in Year 10 for entry into Year 11.

Applications are NOW OPEN.
The cut-off date for applications is Wednesday 24th April 2024. Registrations received after this date will incur a late fee or may not be accepted.
The scholarship examination will be held on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at Gilson College, beginning at 4:00pm and finishing at approximately 6:30pm. The scholarship application fee is $130.
