Gilson College

All students at all year levels participate in excursions and incursions to enrich their learning experiences.

Year 9 Program

In Years 5 and 6, our students also have overnight camps which involve Sovereign Hill (Grade 5) and Canberra (Grade 6).
In Year 7 our students are introduced to life in a secondary context through a team-building adventure camp.
Our Year 8 students complete a 4-day back-to-base hiking expedition which is an ideal preparation for the 'Learning 4 Life' program in Year 9.
In Year 10 our students currently have the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard in the Victorian Alps.
Year 11 participate in a major interstate trip to visit our tertiary institution in NSW.
The Year 12 trip involves a wholesome alternative to 'Schoolies Week' - after their exams are completed.
