Excursions and Camps

Students of all year levels participate in camps, excursions and incursions to enrich their learning experience.

We believe that learning must extend beyond the classroom, and our enriching activities include incursions, excursions, and camps. These activities provide students with hands-on experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of their subjects and developing their character.

Students of all year levels participate in carefully planned excursions and incursions, bringing real-world context to their studies. These experiences allow students to explore new environments, interact with experts, and engage with practical applications of their learning.

Our camp program provide unique opportunities for students of all year levels to develop independence, teamwork, and resilience. During our memorable school camps, students build lasting memories while gaining valuable life skills. These enriching experiences help shape well-rounded individuals who are ready to face future challenges with confidence and a broader perspective on the world.

  • In Years 5 and 6, our students also have overnight camps which involve Sovereign Hill (Grade 5) and Canberra (Grade 6).
  • In Year 7 our students are introduced to life in a secondary context through a team-building adventure camp.
  • Our Year 8 students complete a 4-day back-to-base hiking expedition which is an ideal preparation for the 'Learning 4 Life' program in Year 9.
  • In Year 10 our students currently have the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard in the Victorian Alps.
  • Year 11 participate in a major interstate trip to visit our tertiary institution in NSW.
  • The Year 12 trip involves a wholesome alternative to 'Schoolies Week' - after their exams are completed.
